June 25, 2024 – New Paltz, NY – Get ready for a week filled with excitement, entertainment, and community fun as the Ulster County Agricultural Society presents a classic country fair complete with agricultural displays, live farm animals, live entertainment and unlimited thrill rides all for a low pay-one-price admission and free parking. In its 136th year, the Ulster County Fair returns to the Ulster County Fairgrounds at 249 Libertyville Road in New Paltz, NY. From Tuesday, July 30th to Sunday, August 4th, 2024.

In addition to stellar performances, the Ulster County Fair proudly announces returning favorites that include: the Robinson Racing Pigs, garden tractor, truck, and tractor-pull competitions, a petting zoo, as well as dozens of midway thrill rides for the whole family, and Circus Incredible! Of course, delicious fair food where you can Indulge in mouth-watering treats, including the famous 4-H Milkshakes, a must-try for all attendees.
As a reminder the Ulster County Fair now has the new Sensory Safe Space: The fair’s safe space provides a calm environment for families with children who have autism or sensory sensitivities. This area includes bubble tubes, touch-and-feel books about animals, and noise-canceling headphones, offering a respite from bright lights, noise, and crowds.
Stop by the newly remodeled Youth Building with a nearly 360-degree view showcasing beautiful local agricultural scenes and landscapes, providing a visually appealing experience for all visitors. In addition a new pavilion has been constructed that will provide a new shaded seating/eating area for fairgoers.

Mark your calendars and join us at the Ulster County Fairgrounds for an unforgettable week of summer fun, great food, and free entertainment! The Ulster County Fair will continue its pay-one-price admission that includes all the exhibits, entertainment, and rides for $20 per person, while children under 36 inches tall attend free! There will be an opportunity to buy tickets online at $18.00 per ticket at UlsterCountyFair.com Advance tickets can be used any day Tuesday through Sunday during the fair’s scheduled run. Popular pricing options like Tuesday Car Load Night will return where a car load of up to eight people can gain admission for only $50. Senior Citizens are admitted free on Wednesday and Thursday till 4:00 PM.
