General Information
Parking
Parking is FREE in the main parking lot for 12,000 cars. Dedicated handicapped parking is located within the main parking near Ticket Sales.
Handicap Parking
Display your handicap ID and the parking attendant will direct you to our handicap parking area. This parking area is the closest parking to our ticket booth.
Handicap Grounds
Over the past couple of years, the Ulster County Fair has improved the grounds for handicapped access by blacktopping main areas for easier access. We at the Fair are considering additional improvements for the future and will continue to work to provide better and easier access to our grounds.
Guest & Information Services
Daily activity schedules are available and Fair personnel will assist with additional information as needed. Parking and Fair-goers attendants are available upon arrival to assist in secure parking and Fair directions. Over 50 Fair attendants including 20 uniformed officers are located throughout the Fairgrounds for your assistance concerning information, security, or Fair related matters to make your Fair visit pleasant and enjoyable.
First Aid Station
The first aid station is staffed with Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics from area ambulance services. It is located near the Main Office, in the building marked “First Aid” and is open during fair hours.
Lost Children
The Lost Children center is located at the Security/Fire Department Building. All children should be made aware of the location of the building upon arrival at the Fair. Fair employees, security, and various police agencies patrol the grounds and can be contacted in cases of lost children.
Restrooms
Restrooms are conveniently located on the Fairgrounds. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. They are located at Main Ticket Sales Building, Jane W. Barley Memorial Youth Building, and near the livestock pavilions.
